KSYM Synagogue (Buchman Ashkenaz), Modiin

The 900 square meter synagogue complex, the largest in the city of Modiin, serves a vibrant community of largely English speaking Olim. 

The project includes a main sanctuary, social hall with movable partitions for multipurpose use, kitchen, as well as open courtyards.
The design augments the expansive views from the site and actually puts the sloping site to the advantage of stroller and handicap accessibility, with the form itself significantly enhancing acoustic and HVAC performance.

Design services also included preliminary master planning for the 3,000 square meter site.
The complex was dedicated in 2011.
