Isaac completed his academic studies in 1984 at Israel's Technion Institute of Technology, with a degree in architecture and urban design. He interned at Karmi Architects, working on a variety of projects, notably Israel's Supreme Court Building and the Gilo neighborhood in Jerusalem.
During the years 1989-1994, Isaac worked on a variety of residential and office building projects, at the offices of Meister Architekten AG in Bern Switzerland.
Upon returning to Israel, Isaac worked as a senior architect in the office of Uri Shetrit Architects, managing the office for over ten years. During this period he was responsible for the full gamut of planning and design in a wide variety of projects in the areas of public building, residential design, master planning, and urban design. Such projects included the recently completed Ma'alot Tarshicha Cultural Center, the Center for Progressive Judaism in Tel Aviv – Yaffo, Teddy Park, Jerusalem, the master plan for the Eilat Airport land reclamation and more.
In 2011, Isaac co-founded, together with Alan Aranoff, AI Architecture and Urban Design.
Isaac is licensed to practice architecture in Israel.
